Your Monthly Gift Can Change Lives — Every Single Day
At the Saskatoon SPCA, we believe every animal deserves safety, comfort, and a second chance. In 2024, more than 1,400 animals found loving homes through our shelter — and this year, the need is greater than ever.
So far in 2025, we’ve seen a huge increase in animals requiring care, from tiny kittens needing bottle feeding to dogs arriving with urgent medical needs. But here’s the truth: we don’t receive government funding. Everything we do is made possible through the generosity of our community — and monthly donors are the reason we can keep saying “yes” when animals need us most.
Why Monthly Giving Matters
One-time donations are incredibly important, but monthly gifts give us something we can’t get any other way — reliable, predictable income. This steady funding allows us to plan ahead, prepare for emergencies, and care for animals year-round.
Your monthly donation has a direct impact:
💛 $11/month – Provides toys to combat boredom and improve an animal’s well-being
💛 $17/month – Provides meals for a week for an animal in foster care or in the shelter
💛 $24/month – Prevents life-threatening illness by providing critical vaccines
💛 $31/month – Provides one orphaned kitten or puppy with bottle-feeding formula during their foster stay
Our Goal: 50 New Monthly Donors by August 26
We’re running our 18 Days of Care campaign between International Cat Day (August 8) and International Dog Day (August 26). Our goal is to welcome 50 new monthly donors during this time.
If just 50 people commit to giving monthly, we can ensure more animals receive the food, shelter, medical care, and love they need — no matter what challenges come through our doors.
Will You Join Us?
When you become a monthly donor, you’re not just giving money — you’re giving second chances. You’re helping animals like Peekaboo, a tiny kitten who came to us underweight and with a badly infected eye. Thanks to monthly donors, we didn’t have to hesitate to give her the surgery she needed. Today, she’s thriving in her forever home.
Be a part of stories like hers.
