Intermediate Nosework
$225.00

Ready to take your dog’s scent skills to the next level? Our Intermediate Nosework class at the Saskatoon SPCA builds on the skills learned in Beginner Nosework and gives dogs and handlers new challenges to work through together.

This class introduces more complex searches, larger search areas, new environments and added distractions. Dogs will continue developing confidence and independence while learning to work through increasingly challenging scent problems. Handlers will also build their observation skills and learn how to better recognize changes in their dog’s behaviour as they move closer to the target scent.

Nosework is a great way to provide mental exercise while giving your dog an outlet for natural sniffing and searching behaviours. Because dogs work at their own pace, nosework can be a rewarding activity for dogs of many ages, breeds and activity levels.

At the Saskatoon SPCA, our trainers keep class sizes small so each dog and handler can receive individual guidance. Intermediate Nosework is ideal for teams that are comfortable with the basics and are ready to strengthen their search skills, teamwork and confidence.

Completion of a Beginner or Introduction to Nosework class is required before registering for Intermediate Nosework.

Sign up today to continue your nosework journey and build on the skills you and your dog have already developed through our dog training classes in Saskatoon.
