A Big Success: Saskatoon SPCA Auxiliary’s Annual Garage Sale Raises Over $8,000 for Second Chance Fund

Despite a soggy Saturday that forced an early shutdown, the Saskatoon SPCA Auxiliary’s Annual Garage Sale on June 17 - 19 2025 was a resounding success! Thanks to the generosity and support of our community, this year’s sale raised an incredible $8,037.60 for the Second Chance Fund.

This fund is vital to the Saskatoon SPCA, helping cover the cost of surgeries and medical procedures that are often beyond the reach of our regular operating budget. From emergency treatments to specialized care, the Second Chance Fund gives animals with serious medical needs the opportunity to heal and thrive—and to find their second chance at a forever home.

This fundraiser wouldn’t be possible without the tireless effort of the Saskatoon SPCA Auxiliary members, who spent countless hours organizing, sorting, setting up, and managing the sale. A heartfelt thank you also goes out to everyone who donated items and everyone who came to shop. Whether you picked up a new treasure or simply came by to support the cause, you made a difference.

Even the rain couldn’t dampen the spirit of this event. Your continued support shows just how powerful our community can be when we come together for the animals who need us most.
