Dog Day of Summer
Summer isn’t over yet! Join us on Tuesday, August 18 for the City of Saskatoon’s Dog Day of Summer at Mayfair Outdoor Pool.
After the pool closes for the season, Mayfair will be making a splash for our four-legged friends! Dogs can enjoy a swim in the zero-entry pool while their humans cheer them on from the sidelines. There will also be a BBQ fundraiser hosted by the Saskatoon SPCA throughout the day, so come hungry and help support animals in our community!
Swim Sessions
Registration is required, with a maximum of 60 dogs per session.
11:00–11:55 a.m. — Service & Therapy Dogs
12:00–12:55 p.m. — All Dogs
1:00–1:55 p.m. — All Dogs
2:00–2:55 p.m. — All Dogs
3:00–3:55 p.m. — All Dogs
4:00–4:55 p.m. — All Dogs
5:00–5:55 p.m. — All Dogs
6:00–6:55 p.m. — All Dogs
7:00–7:55 p.m. — Small Dogs Only
Small dogs must be under 40 cm (16") at the shoulder and less than 9 kg (20 lbs).
Before You Go
All participating dogs must be:
Accompanied by an adult owner
Well-socialized
Vaccinated
Licensed in Saskatoon
Pet licenses must be purchased or renewed before registering. Dogs whose licenses expire before the event will need to have their license renewed before registration.
Owners are encouraged to trim their dog's nails before attending. Human swimming will not be permitted, and participation is at you and your dog's own risk.
